Our History
Since 1987, Daniel Woods Real Estate has been the investors’ choice to buy, sell, and manage real estate properties in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Our services are provided by highly educated licensed professionals with extensive experience in real estate investments and property management, as well as the related fields of tax and accounting.
Our tax and accounting backgrounds have taught us that it’s all about the details, down to the penny. Many property management companies overlook the little details, or ignore what they perceive as burdensome rules and regulations. That’s not our style. These kinds of oversights can, and often do, lead to increased expense and liability for property owners. We pride ourselves on the attention we pay to details, which sets us apart.

Veronica finds joy connecting people for everything from hair salons to jobs. After spending 20 years working in Corporate America in Finance and Product Management for companies like Dun & Bradstreet, Merck, and Merrill Lynch, she turned her matchmaking skills to real estate. She joined the family real estate business—which was her very first job. You can listen to more about her journey in this podcast interview with the Real Estate Investor Goddesses.
What makes Veronica stand out from other realtors is her financial background. With an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University, she does not run from the numbers. She spent over a decade running financial models to help her employers evaluate projects and products. This skill allows her to simplify the bottom line for a homeowner or forecast the return on investment for a developer.
Her real estate experience has been diverse. She has represented buyers and sellers of vacant land to single-family/multi-family homes within Delaware County and West Philadelphia in PA. She specializes in working with newbie investors, selling investment portfolios, downsizing seniors, and single women homebuyers.
She frequently speaks to community and alumni groups on topics such as “Financial Freedom through Real Estate Investing” and “Homebuying Fact or Fiction.” She also produces educational videos on her Real Estate Wisdom YouTube channel. She is the co-host of the new Rental Property Cafe podcast. She volunteers where she can impact change that empowers communities such as Making the Change Group, Summer Search, and the Community Design Collaborative.
Veronica is an entrepreneur at heart. She founded the online hair salon review site MySalonScoop.com in 2008 and wrote the book “The A-List Salon: Insider Secrets of How Profitable Salons Wow Their Clients”. Veronica is a Delco native who now resides in Lansdowne, PA.

Daniel Woods is the broker of record and founder of Daniel Woods Real Estate. Since 1985, he has run this full-service real estate firm advising homeowners, investors, local municipalities, and HUD.
He has managed a wide range of transactions related to distressed properties, estate sales, commercial properties, and first-time home buyers. His expertise in Delco market real estate led to several special appointments including the Upper Chichester Planning commission (from 1990-1993) and as Chester City Assessor (from 1993-1996).
Throughout his career, he has been an active real estate investor. He enjoys educating clients about advanced negotiating techniques to get better deals.
Before launching his real estate career, he worked at General Electric and Westinghouse as a Tool Planner. He studied Mechanical Technology at Temple University and Business Administration at Cheyney University. He has always been an active leader in his community. He has served as a trustee and member of the Finance Committee for Asbury AME Church, President of the Twin Oak Farms Civic Association, member of the Chester Rotary Club, Board of Directors for Delaware County Library, and Past Master of the J.C. Price Lodge No. 82.
He is a proud US Army veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne Infantry.

As a Philadelphia native, Samira Kiett is a newly licensed real estate advisor excited to expand her career. As a Temple alum, Samira received her B.A. in Communications/Marketing with an A.S. in Business Administration. With a successful career in hospitality operations, she was ready to take on a career in the real estate industry.
In 2021 Samira started as the Leasing Manager with Daniel Woods Real Estate, along with helping her clients succeed in home ownership. When she isn’t in the office or studying the market, you’ll often find her traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
